Frequently Asked Questions

  • Teagan offers regularly scheduled 60 minute individual therapy sessions, relationship and family therapy for 60 or 90 minute appointments, as well as 3 or 6 hour intensive therapy sessions.

  • Reach out via phone or email (email preferred) to schedule a free 15 minute consultation call. You can also request a consultation appointment on the ‘New Clients’ page of this site.

  • Teagan combines a thoughtful, human-centered, caring approach with clear communication. She genuinely cares to take the time to work with you and get to the deep stuff. She doesn’t want this to be the weekly check-in. She wants you to leave feeling better.

  • Teagan offers both! Telehealth is conducted through a secure platform to ensure your information is protected. In-person sessions happen at her office in Goose Hollow where tea and snacks are always available.

  • I am currently a private-pay, out-of-network provider. While I don't accept insurance directly, your insurance plan may have out-of-network benefits, which means that they will reimburse you for a portion of our session cost. I have partnered with Thrizer to handle the out-of-network process automatically for you. With Thrizer, you will only have to pay a copay for our sessions post-deductible, instead of paying my full fee and waiting for reimbursements. This typically allows clients to save on average 70% upfront on our sessions. During our intake process, I can help you verify if you have out-of-network benefits and how much your copay would be.

  • I request 24 hour notice for a cancellation or reschedule. If an appointment is late cancelled or no-showed you will be charged the full fee, unless it’s in the event of an emergency. For intensives, I request a 48 hour notice for cancellations and the late cancel or no-show fee will be half the session cost.

  • Not at this time. In place of sliding scale or limited, reduced-fee slots, I offer limited slots for Medicaid and Medicare recipients.
*Note: At this time Medicaid and Medicare slots are full*

  • An intensive session is a 3 or 6 hour session focusing on intense, deeper work without interruption. Snacks and drinks are made available. Prior to scheduling an intensive, we will have a consultation to discuss what you are wanting to work on and what you would like to achieve by the end of the session. We will also discuss potential modalities to be used during the session that may help you achieve that goal within your desired timeframe. We will also develop a reasonable and achievable self-care plan for before and after the session to prepare for intensive work and to rest after. I will then draft up a schedule or agenda for us prior to the session and will share that with you. There will then be an opportunity to ask any questions you may have, or make any changes that you may want to that agenda prior to the session. This allows for both of us to go into the session prepared and focused on working towards your goal.

  • If you’ve worked with me before, you know that I like to take some extra time and I almost always use the full 60 minutes with you. I believe that when we’re working on deep and meaningful material, the work doesn’t always fit into a 60-minute timeframe. Because of this, I decided I wanted to offer an option where we didn’t need to worry about the time. Where we could focus on that deeper and meaningful work with space to breathe and without interruptions so growth can feel more consistent.

  • Good question! There are two URLs for the same site. This is because most of Teagan’s clients know her by her name, not her business name. This makes it easier to remember what to type in as the URL if they’re needing access to the resources tab. Teagan has always been a believer in making things easier.
